Located on the shores of Skye – the largest unspoiled island in the Hebrides, the award-winning Talisker distillery has long been known as the birthplace of world-famous whiskies sharing the typical peppery and sweet smoke flavours. As a part of the “Special Releases 2019” collection, Talisker 15 Years Old limited edition was first introduced to the world in early fall 2019.

The maturation in freshly charred American oak hogsheads, together with the four-season rotation during 15 years of the Isle of Skye, give Talisker 15 a surprisingly intense flavour. The adventure of taste is similar to the voyage of ships since they are both full of maritime flavours: salt, seaweed, ship wood, typical strong smoke accompanied with honey and spicy spices. Starting smoothly with the sweetness of peaches and raisins on the tip of the tongue, then suddenly bursting into the pungent flavours of pepper, nutmeg and the smell of cinder smoke, and finishing with a lingering spiciness rising to the bridge of the nose.
