Oban 14 Years Old originates from the iconic Western Highland region and is part of Diageo’s Classic Malt series. Since their foundation two centuries ago, West Highland malts have been produced in an unhurried, traditional fashion and this 14-year-old is a classic whisky from the distillery.

Right from the first sips, Oban 14 creates a strong impression with its thick flavour with a smoky aroma. The medicinal notes are quite evident with notes of the sea; seaweed, tarry ropes. There are notes of cut hay and wood smoke rising with a gentle estery sweetness. Dotted here and there is a hint of citrus sweetness, a faint smoke of seaweed, oak, grain and malt. After all, only the flavour of fruits and dried oak remain.
