Produced in limited quantities of 5,588 individually numbered bottles, John Walker & Sons Private Collection 2017 Edition – Mastery of Oak exhibits the expertise of two Master Blenders – Jim Beveridge and Aimée Gibson in mixing whiskies matured in different types of oak casks. From the first-fill casks used for the first distillation, to the refill and then valuable experimental ones – all contribute to such a quintessential blend.

The intense vanilla sweetness from whiskies matured in American oak casks completes the journey of flavours. The whiskies were married for several months before being combined in the 2017 Edition – a sumptuous Johnnie Walker blend of oak-rich fruity notes that reveal full characters of component casks.
