The most complex edition to date, 2016 is the third bottling in the John Walker & Sons Private Collection series with 8,888 bottles worldwide, offering these small batch editions of Johnnie Walker to a wider audience.

This edition, titled “Fine Honeyed Notes”, focuses on the sweeter flavours within the Johnnie Walker range, with some of the 100 casks coming from a variety of distilleries, four of which – Caledonian, Cambus, Carsebridge and Port Dundas – are now silent. The aromatic layers of honey sweetness from single grain Scotch whiskies are blended with deep layers of fruity notes from single malt Scotch whiskies to create a perfect combination of honey, soft texture and a well-balanced complexity of flavours.
